Matthew Stridiron is a Columbia University alumnus who majored in computer engineering and minored in computer science. Prior to attending the institution, he graduated with an associate degree in cybersecurity at SUNY Orange.
During his spare time at college, Matthew provided free, one-on-one virtual college admissions guidance to high school seniors. He successfully tutored students who became the first in their families to attend college and earned full ride scholarships to universities such as Harvard, Columbia, Princeton, and Stanford.
In January 2020, he was recognized for his work by being named one of Columbia’s ten delegates to represent the school at the 1vyG conference, the largest conference in the United States that seeks to better first-generation, low-income students. Above all, Matthew places his priorities on family. He loves bowling and touring the country with his two younger brothers.
